Kindle comes equipped with a Text-To-Speech feature so you can be read to in English unless the holder of rights to the book won't allow it. As you read, the pages are automatically turned so you can listen without turning the pages. You can chose a woman or man's voice, and can switch between listening and reading. You can also regulate the speed of the voices. If you are in the middle of a book you enjoy, and have to leave, you can take the Kindle in the car and use the Text to Speech mode.
