The Kindle Screen

The Kindle has a six inch black and white screen and is as easy to read as a paper with print. There is no glare or backlight, and is not like looking at a computer screen. It displays ink particles electronically. It also does not emit any heat. It can be easily read in bright sunlight, and has 16 shades of gray so images are very clear and sharp. You can also increase the text size with a button if your eyes get tired. There are eight font sizes from which to chose. You can make all the books large print if you wish. It uses the very latest in electronic ink technology in its display.
